Community Projects
At Umbrellus, we envision a world where sustainable materials form everyday solutions, communities thrive through innovative designs that honour humanity and nature, and no one is vulnerable to harsh environments, ensuring dignified, eco-conscious shelter and tools for all.
We host hands-on workshops to teach individuals and communities about the potential of mycelium as a sustainable resource. These workshops provide practical skills for growing eco-friendly products while raising awareness about environmental preservation.
Partnering with local communities, we’re introducing semi-permanent, mycelium-grown canopy structures. These canopies offer protection from harsh weather while enabling vendors to sustain their livelihoods in dignified and eco-friendly ways.
We collaborate with schools to introduce sustainability education programs. From showcasing the potential of agricultural waste to inspiring young minds with hands-on mycelium projects, we’re nurturing the next generation of eco-leaders.
Rooted in our founder's journey, we’re dedicated to supporting refugee entrepreneurs through donations of sustainable shelter solutions and skill-development programs. Together, we’re building opportunities that empower individuals to thrive.
